A heartfelt thank you to our West End Community for your ongoing support and trust, which genuinely makes a difference.

The year 2025 has been busy and, at times, challenging, not only for FCH but also for rural health organizations across Washington and the United States as we navigate changes to policies that impact rural health care delivery. Through it all, we are deeply appreciative of your continued support of YOUR community hospital and health clinics, West End Outreach, Forks Ambulance, and the many outpatient services we are proud to offer and committed to continuing.

To end 2025 on a very positive note, we’re sharing some of the year’s milestones, such as FCH’s improving financial health, expansion of services, the recruitment of new physicians and allied health professionals, and the launch of a new Palliative Care Program, for which the team was recognized as a Rural Health Hero by the Washington Department of Health this past November.

In addition to the above, I am elated to share that Forks Hospital Foundation’s tireless efforts on the “Operation Mammogram” fundraising campaign successfully raised $250,000 toward the purchase of our new mammography machine. To all who made donations, please know how grateful we are for your support in helping us to continue delivering safe, high-quality care to those we serve.

While the above is just a brief list of FCH’s 2025 highlights, it represents a portion of the work happening behind the scenes, made possible by a team of outstanding and dedicated employees, many of them your neighbors, family members, and friends.

Lastly, we recognize that this season may be difficult for some, and we are here to offer help and support whenever needed.

With gratitude for our community and best wishes for a healthy new year,

-Heidi Anderson, MBA BSN RN
