On a Mission to Make a Difference
The Forks Hospital Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission-driven purpose to raise and administer philanthropic funds for Forks Community Hospital (FCH), its associated medical clinics, and the health needs in The West End. Together with our volunteers, physicians, and other community leaders, the Foundation works to encourage public interest and support of FCH and our many programs, services, and outreach activities in a manner consistent with our values and goals.

FCH is a not-for-profit hospital that delivers compassionate, high-quality health care to residents in the West End. Philanthropic support helps provide new facilities, state-of-the-art equipment and technology, new programs and services, health education, and community outreach.

How We Make an Impact
Past fundraising efforts included raising money to purchase AED machines for multiple community locations and a vehicle to transport residents of the hospital’s former long-term care unit to community events.
Giving thanks to those who are helping us give the gift of mammograms!
In 2024, Forks Community Hospital’s only mammography unit was damaged and unrepairable. Understanding how vitally important mammograms are to the health and well-being of so many in our community, the Forks Hospital Foundation began its mission to raise needed funds for a replacement unit. In just over a year, thanks to grants from the Murdock Trust and First Fed Bank, and the generosity of so many in our West End Community, including many employees at FCH, we are thrilled to report that our grassroots $250,000 matching grant goal was met!
Operation Mammogram was one of the most successful and meaningful fundraising efforts to date, and we’d like to recognize those who live outside of our community who were motivated to donate, and to the following individuals and organizations for their donations, support, and, most of all, for helping us give the gift of mammograms. Because of your gifts, patients will not have to drive for miles for excellence in health care, as this life-saving service is available here in Forks!
