I have lived in forks my entire life and from the beginning of my career I would return to the town I called home to provide care for the community that I love. My career at Forks Hospital started almost 30 years ago working as a CNA, Medical Assistant, EMT and then becoming an RN where I worked both in Acute care, ER and finally becoming a Rural Health Clinic Nurse. Over the years I discovered the importance of education in both the prevention and self-management of Chronic Disease. My interest specifically in diabetes led me to become a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist in 2023. I marvel daily at the power and strength of patients who learn that lifestyle changes and self-management skills can change the course of their chronic disease.
Outside of work I love being a wife, mom and grandma to 6 beautiful grandkids. I love gardening, antiquing and most importantly spending time with my family.
