As a Public Hospital District of Clallam County, Fork Community Hospital (FCH) is deeply committed to always providing the best care and service possible, and that includes working with patients to help them navigate the financial aspects of their health care and gaining a better understanding of how our critical access hospital, rural health clinics, and other services are reimbursed for the care we provide.
To answer questions, we receive and offer helpful education on a host of financial and insurance aspects of health care, we will be publishing a series of “Ask the Expert” blogs and sharing resources that cover a wide range of topics over the next weeks and months. To begin with, we’re focusing on Medicare Advantage, a topic many talk to us about. Thankfully, the Washington State Hospital Association has just released a new educational tool, “Facts about Medicare Advantage,” which provides clear answers and helpful insights on this subject.
