Volunteering at Forks Community Hospital
Requirements
Training
Volunteers
- Must be 18 years old or older,
- Provide own transportation or transportation arrangements,
- Adhere to hospital policy and procedure,
- Complete an application,
- Be friendly, positive, and willing to learn,
- Participate in various trainings, and
- Participate in a health screening, background check, and drug screening.
- Acknowledgment of Policies and Procedures,
- Online learning modules (assigned annually),
- Competency checks for required skills such as handwashing, and
- Department or job-specific training.
- Volunteers are part of the healthcare team; volunteers provide service that extends that of the clinical and support staff of the Hospital.
