The Surgery Department at Forks Community Hospital is dedicated to providing the best quality care available. The surgeon, staff, providing physicians, certified nurse anesthetists, specially trained surgical and endoscopy nurses, and technicians are focused on providing as many services as possible. Common procedures include: colon cancer screening and colon polyp removal; endoscopy of the stomach and esophagus to diagnose ulcers; esophogitis and other upper gastrointestinal problems; outpatient surgical repair of hernias; outpatient treatment of anorectal problems including hemorrhoids; and laparoscopic removal of gallbladders. Our goals are safety, comfort and convenience for all of our patients.
