Materials Management

The Materials Management personnel are responsible for development, maintenance and coordination of supply support systems to meet the needs of our patients and Hospital District Departments. Materials Management is staffed by two full-time employees and one per-diem employee. They provide information and instruction to all departments, care-givers and patients on products and their usage. Materials Management staff work closely with the Purchasing department towards product standardization and cost effective purchasing. Additionally, department staff are responsible for processing, sterilization and quality control of sterile supplies and equipment used in the hospital.
