AccountingAccounting consists of the budgeting, general ledger, accounts payable, payroll and reporting to State and Federal agencies. The Accounting Manager records the general finances of the hospital. The Accounting Manager is also responsible for the trust monies of the Long Term Care residents. Accounts Payable is responsible for paying the general bills of the hospital district and tracking of miscellaneous billings for outside services. Payroll is also handled in this department. Over 200 time sheets are turned in on a bi-weekly basis and processed for payment. The annual payroll in 2001 was $5,682,732 or 63.68% of net patient revenue. |
