In addition to staff Physical Therapist duties and responsibilities, the Director of Physical Rehabilitation Services oversees the general operations of the Physical Rehabilitation Services Department, directs and supervises licensed and non-licensed support personnel within their scope of practice, develops and implements new programs and services and promotes high standards of patient care and personnel performance. QUALIFICATIONS: Education- Graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy or has certificate of successful completion from a recognized physical therapy program. Licensure- Holds current Washington State Physical Therapy License.

Training and Experience: Familiar with all facets of Physical Therapy as practiced at the Hospital. Skilled in interpersonal communication and ability to relate well to the patients, the public, other professionals and Hospital employees at all levels. Three years of clinical experience including a minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience in some form.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION;

Graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy or has certificate of successful completion from a recognized physical therapy program.

LICENSURE: Holds current Washington State Physical Therapist License. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:1.Familiar with all facets of Physical Therapy, as practiced as Hospital. 2.Skilled in interpersonal communication with ability to relate well to patients, the public, hospital staff, all levels of health care providers in a clear, professional verbal and/or written manner. 3. One (1) year clinical experience is required to perform services at off-site facility. 4. Computer experience desirable. 5. Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association desirable.

Receptionist acts as first point of contact for incoming patients either by telephone or in person. This person will schedule patient appointments with medical professionals in a pleasant and business-like manner; prepare patient medical records/charts and billing forms, register patient data into the Clinic EMR, updates insurance information and perform other front office duties as directed by the Clinic Manager. The Receptionist will be cross-trained in the areas of clinic medical records and patient referrals.

Education: High School/GED, Business College preferred. Training and Experience: No clinical receptionist experience is required but is preferred. References which indicate good attendance, performance and dependability. Able to operate telephone, computer, and other office machines. Bilingual, Spanish speaking preferred.

Registered Sleep Tech/ Polysomnographic Technician

The Polysomnographic technologist works under medical and clinical supervision to perform overnight polysomnograms, occasional day schedule for training, meetings +/operation of sleep studies. Functions independently to safely maneuver sophisticated medical equipment to record sleep/wake physiology. The application of recording devices to the patient, cleaning / sterilization of equipment and monitoring of polysomnograms are essential duties of the technologist. Polysomnographic technologists must recognize sleep pathology when it occurs in the laboratory and respond with the appropriate interventions to ensure patient safety. The technologist also performs special procedures such as ordered by the referring physician, ambulatory monitoring, and patient education.Certification/Licensing/Registration: Prior training as a Respiratory Care Therapist, Polysomnography, RN, LPN, Radiology Technologist, Lab Assistant or EEG Technologist preferred. High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience required.

Mental Health Specialist (MHS) will be classified as qualified for the basic position and may have additional specialties as described below. These are salaried professional level positions. All MHS are responsible for providing clinical treatment services with minimal administrative functions. The MHS is under the supervision of the Director of Outreach Services, and/or coordinator of program area assigned. The MHS provides multifaceted mental health services within his/her credentialed areas of expertise. This may encompass emergency services, information and referral, individual, group and family psychotherapy, consumer support services, community education and consultation services. MHS may qualify by meeting the requirements of WAC 388-865-0150 for any of the additional specialties: children, elderly, developmental disabilities, minorities, hearing impaired, or emergency services. Qualification for any of these shall then mean that the MHS may further provide direct service or consultation to other staff in cases involving clients belonging to the special populations described above.
