The Medical Assistant will also provide other support by assisting with patients, clerical and record keeping duties. Qualifications include: High School/GED. Graduated from an accredited medical assistant school with education to include but not limited to anatomy, physiology, pharmacological principles and medication administration, mathematics, concepts of asepsis and microbiology. Certification: Must be eligible and obtain an active Health Care Assistant Certification in the State of Washington within 3 – 6 months of hire date. Ability to operate Nebulizer and other equipment within the clinic. Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred. Computer experience desirable. CPR certification to be completed within the first year of service and renewal training as designated to maintain certification.
