The Supervisor of Chemical Dependency is a qualified and appropriately credentialed chemical dependency and mental health professional who supervises and coordinates direct client services, program activities, as well as supervision of quality assurance.

QUALIFICATIONS: A two year degree in human services or related field from an accredited college or university. The course work shall include all WAC 246-811-030 academic requirements and course work. Current Certification from the State of Washington Dept. of Health as Chemical Dependency Professional per Chapter 18.205 RCW (WAC 246-811).

Mental Health Specialist

This position is specifically for a Child Mental Health Specialist (credentialed in WA) and will have a caseload of at least 85% children and youth. The MHS provides multifaceted mental health services within his/her credentialed areas of expertise. This may encompass emergency services, information and referral, individual, group and family psychotherapy, consumer support services, community education and consultation services. MHS may qualify by meeting the requirements of WAC 388-865-0150 for any of the additional specialties: children, elderly, developmental disabilities, minorities, hearing impaired or emergency services. These are salaried professional level positions.
