Medical Technologist

The Medical technologist performs duties such as chemical, microscopic, serologic, hematological, immunohematologic, EKG’s and bacteriologic tests to provide data for the health care provider for the purpose of diagnosing, treatment, monitoring and prevention of disease. Receives specimens for laboratory tests or obtains such body materials as urine, blood, feces, pus and tissue directly from the patient. Makes quantitative and qualitative chemical analyses. Cultivates, isolates and identifies pathogenic bacteria and other microorganisms. Performs blood tests for transfusion. Records and distributes test results and maintains laboratory supplies and equipment as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Bachelor of Science in a chemical or biological science from a 4 year accredited college or university. NOTE: Bachelor’s degree requirement may be waived by the department manager depending on amount and type of experience held

Administers and directs the examination, evaluation, determination of a physical therapy diagnosis, rehabilitation prognosis and procedural interventions utilized in physical medicine and rehabilitation of persons requiring Physical Therapy services following a medical screening and referral by a physician within the licensure requirements of the State of Washington.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education- Graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy or has certificate of successful completion from a recognized physical therapy program.

Case Manager

The Case Manager is an hourly employee responsible for providing support services to priority mental health clients, including the chronically mentally ill, seriously disturbed and acutely mentally ill. The Case Manager may also provide support services to co-occurring and substance use disorder clients as assigned. The Case Manager is under the supervision of the agency Director with clinical supervision provided by the Supervisor of unit assigned by Outreach Director and/or Staff Psychiatrist.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION- Bachelor’s degree in social science, social work or related area preferred. Other specialized training may be substituted.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE- Two years direct experience in the treatment of mentally ill emotionally disturbed patients and children. Must demonstrate knowledge of mental health case management in accordance

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education- A Masters’ degree in behavioral, nursing sciences, social work or related field from an accredited college or university preferred; five years related work experience may be substituted for educational degrees.

Training and Experience- Washington state licensure- LMHC/LMHCA; LMFT/LMFTA, LSW/LSWA and Designated Mental Health Professional credential. At least two years’ experience in the treatment of individuals with behavioral health illnesses.
