Education:  Graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy or has certificate of successful completion from a recognized physical therapy program.

Licensure: Holds current Washington State Physical Therapy License.

Training and Experience: Familiar with all facets of Physical Therapy as practiced at the Hospital. Skilled in interpersonal communication and ability to relate well to the patients, the public, other professionals and Hospital employees at all levels. Three years of clinical experience including a minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience in some form.

COTA (Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant)

COTA works with an Occupational Therapist (OT) to treat patients who have difficulty performing work and daily living activities due to illnesses, injuries and disabilities.  They help clients perform exercises as specified in a treatment plan and teach them how to use equipment that may make certain activities easier.  A COTA works under an OT’s supervision and will work in both inpatient and out-patient settings.

Education: Associate degree from an Occupational Therapy Assistant Program that is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) and hold an active WA State License as a COTA.

The case manager is an hourly employee responsible for providing support services to priority mental health clients, including the chronically mentally ill, seriously disturbed and acutely mentally ill.  The Case Manager may also provide some support services to alcoholism and/or drug clients, as assigned.  The Case Manager is under the supervision of the agency Director with clinical supervision provided by the Coordinator, of unit assigned by Outreach Director and/or Staff Psychiatrist.

Registered Sleep Tech/ Polysomnographic Technician

Respiratory Therapy Director

The Polysomnographic technologist works under medical and clinical supervision to perform overnight polysomnograms, occasional day schedule for training, meetings +/operation of sleep studies. Functions independently to safely maneuver sophisticated medical equipment to record sleep/wake physiology. The application of recording devices to the patient, cleaning / sterilization of equipment and monitoring of polysomnograms are essential duties of the technologist. Polysomnographic technologists must recognize sleep pathology when it occurs in the laboratory and respond with the appropriate interventions to ensure patient safety. The technologist also performs special procedures such as ordered by the referring physician, ambulatory monitoring, and patient education.

Certification/Licensing/Registration:  Prior training as a Respiratory Care Therapist, Polysomnography, RN, LPN, Radiology Technologist, Lab Assistant or EEG Technologist preferred. High school diploma/GED or equivalent   work experience required.

Experience operating a sterilizer desirable. Experience with computer in materials management inventory systems preferred.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

Heavy physical activity involving standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking and bending. May be exposed to glass, hazardous materials, and infected materials.

The Outreach Services Receptionist/Admitting Clerk performs clerical activities in support of mental health, alcohol and drug abuse counseling programs. As initial contact person, the Receptionist is responsible coordination of all incoming consumers and communications to the agency. The Receptionist performs a variety of clerical activities which include typing, filing, and receiving payment under direction of the Administrative Program Coordinator.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School graduate or equivalency (GED).

Training and Experience: Business course and/or previous office experience desirable. Knowledge of general office practices and procedures including word processing, business English, spelling, grammar, punctuation, arithmetic, typing and filing. Essential Job Functions:  May require coverage of some evening hours and flexibility in scheduling hours of work. Must be able to work with interruption and under stress.
